Climate

December & January are cold with the daytime temperature of 7-12 degree Celsius. The best time to explore the area is from February to March as the temperature remains between 25 degree Celsius and 35 degree Celsius.

Suklaphata Wildlife Reserve lies in the south-west corner of Nepal in the plain of the Mahakali River. It covers 115 square km of open grassland, Sal forest and other mixed deciduous forest.
